A few other things…

If you are a disabled writer, editor, or publisher who would like to offer a giveaway in 2021, hit me up and let’s discuss details! FYI, I can’t promise anything in advance. DisabilityVisibilityProject@gmail.com

I learned a lot about poetry in my interview with Khairani Barokka, an Indonesian disabled writer, poet, and artist based in the UK, in episode 61 of the Disability Visibility podcast. Khairani helped me understand that poetry is all around us and that there’s something for everyone. In this episode Khairani recited one of her poems and talked about her experiences as a co-editor for the anthology, Stairs and Whispers: D/deaf and Disabled Poets Write Back, published by Nine Arches Press.
