Book giveaway for ADA30!
Hello friends! It’s been fun seeing people posting images of themselves (or their pets) with my book. Another thing that made me very happy was people offering to purchase a free copy of DISABILITY VISIBILITY to any disabled person who cannot afford one. This happened several times and I’m delighted to share that an anonymous person would like to give away TEN copies of my book in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Details below and please share!
**7/20 update: ALL BOOKS HAVE BEEN CLAIMED!! Thank you!
FYI, I’ll be at two online events this weekend:
7/25, 4 pm Pacific, online book launch with several contributors from DISABILITY VISIBILITY co-organized with the Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability.
7/26, 4 pm Pacific, #ADA30InColor online event with disabled people of color talking about the future of disability rights and justice co-organized with the Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability and San Francisco Public Library.
