Book giveaway: Disability Visibility
When I came out with my anthology, Disability Visibility: First-Person Stories from the Twenty-First Century, in 2020 I was delighted to receive an offer to have it adapted into a version for young adults from Delacorte Press. One year later and it’s available now! Many thanks to Delacorte for sponsoring a giveaway of 20 hardcover copies of this book.

The seventeen eye-opening essays in Disability Visibility, all written by disabled people, offer keen insight into the complex and rich disability experience, examining life’s ableism and inequality, its challenges and losses, and celebrating its wisdom, passion, and joy.
The accounts in this collection ask readers to think about disabled people not as individuals who need to be “fixed,” but as members of a community with its own history, culture, and movements. They offer diverse perspectives that speak to past, present, and future generations. It is essential reading for all.

1) Any disabled person in the US is eligible for this giveaway. You do not need to disclose any details about your disability. If you already received a book from one of my previous giveaways, please consider letting other people have a chance.
2) The first 20 people will receive a hardcover. If you do not receive a reply that means the books have been claimed or you did not include all the required information.
