I'm happy to share two online events centered on Asian Americans in conversation about Year of the Tiger. For future events and more about my book, check out my website: https://disabilityvisibilityproject.com/book/tiger/

Event Graphic reads, “CCAC Presents: An Open Book Conversation with Rahnee Patrick and Grace Tsao. Two disability activists discuss Alice Wong’s Year of the Tiger: An Activist’s Life. 2022 Virtual Fundraiser.” Against a green background, photos of Rahnee and Grace frame the book cover for Year of the Tiger, which is centered. Rahnee Patrick wears a blue shirt. She has dark curly hair that is shoulder length. Grace Tsao is an Asian American woman with light/medium skin and long dark hair wearing a red velvet top, large gold hoop earrings, and a jade and pearl necklace. Book cover is set on a marigold yellow background. On the right side is an illustration of a crouching tiger in red in the style of Chinese paper cuttings with delicate cutouts in various shapes giving form and definition to the tiger. The tiger has a fierce expression, eyes and jaws wide open, teeth bared. The tiger has large paws with four claws extended. On the left in black large text YEAR OF THE TIGER at the top and ALICE WONG below. In the center in smaller red text AN ACTIVIST’S LIFE and in the lower right corner EDITOR OF DISABILITY VISIBILITY. Small, delicate red flowers are sprinkled throughout. Book cover by Madeline Partner. In the upper left corner of the event graphic is stamped the logo for CCAC, which is made up of multi-colored triangles arranged in a square. Stacked words adjacent to the design read CHICAGO CULTURAL ACCESSIBILITY CONSORTIUM
